Baby Room Baby Room
Our baby room is bright, warm and a secure environment for your little ones to spend their day! We will work closely with you to ensure that you and your baby’s unique and rapidly changing needs are continuously being met. Babies in our care are encouraged at all times to progress in their development. We ensure a variety of sensory physical and musical experiences. Our baby room has double doors opening out on to their very own garden; we enjoy our busy garden most days – outdoor clothes permitting!! Birth to Three Planning In order for us to provide an effective learning environment for the babies we ensure the three key features of Birth to Three: Supporting our youngest children are put into practice. They are; Relationships Responsive care Respect.
Tweetie Pies Room
Within our toddlers room your little ones are introduced to a range of activities with sand, water, paint, malleable materials stories, music and movement. The playrooms are designed to provide these learning experiences within an atmosphere of warmth and security. Personal communication between experienced caring staff members, children and parents creates our happy nursery environment. Birth to Three Planning We follow Birth to Three Planning. Whilst we plan, we work our day’s activities around a flexible environment, give our children time and attention and encourage their feelings and ideas at all times. Pre-school Room Pre-school Room
We aim to ensure that the time your child spends with us is not only enjoyable but educational. Each area of our pre school room is carefully designed and has a daily routine or programme which staffs work to throughout the day. The day’s activities are very much based on what the children’s current interests are. Using a wide range of quality equipment these experiences are encouraged to stimulate curiosity in the world around them. Pre School Curriculum In partnership with Glasgow City Council we follow their curriculum guidelines. “The 5 broad bands of learning” are: Language and communication Knowledge and understanding Expressive and aesthetic Personal Social and Emotional Development Physical Development During our recent HMI Inspection we achieved the highest grading on all of our “broad bands”. The work and activities carried out within our pre school room was acknowledged as one of the major strengths within our nursery.
